When I was reading about the new MCSA Certifications and I ran into the exams you have to pass to achieve the MCSA: Windows Server 2008 Credential, you have to pass the same exams then when you pass the MCITP Server Administrator.
The ‘old’ MCITP Server Administrator Certification Path
The ‘new’ MCSA Windows Server 2008 Certification Path
MCITP Server Admin = MCSA Windows Server 2008
At the blogpost over at Born to Learn (somewhere in the comments) Ed Liberman has commented that whoever is a MCITP Server Administrator will automatically earn the MCSA Windows Server 2008 credential, and since the exams you have to pass are exactly the same…I think Ed is right!
MCSE Private Cloud
If you want to earn the MCSE Private Cloud and you already are MCITP Enterprise Administrator certified, you only have to attend the 70-246 (Monitoring and Operating a Private Cloud with System Center 2012) and 70-247 (Configuring and Deploying a Private Cloud with System Center 2012) to earn the MCSE Private Cloud credential.
